Accessibility Statement
What is already measured and working, what is not yet, and how to ask for help if you cannot use something here.

1. Our commitment
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including anyone browsing with a screen reader, with a keyboard alone, with magnification, with low vision, or with difficulty telling colours apart.
The standard we follow is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
2. Where we stand
This website was built from scratch in 2026. Before every release we run an automated check across all pages. In the last check, carried out on August 21, 2026:
- Contrast: all text passes the required minimum, measured element by element against each one’s actual background, and not by sampling.
- Headings: one main heading per page, and no page skips heading levels.
- Images: every one has alternative text written by hand, and none is left empty by oversight.
- Buttons and links: all have an accessible name, including the ones that are only an icon.
- Language: declared on every page.
- Width: no page forces you to scroll sideways, at any of the fourteen widths we measure, from 320 to 1440 pixels. The tables and the review carousel scroll within themselves, and the page stays still.
- Motion: anyone with “reduce motion” switched on in their system does not receive the opening video, and animations are turned off.
- Keyboard: there is a link to skip straight to the content, and focus is always visible.
3. What is not right yet
The CoverManager booking module is not ours and we do not control its accessibility. If you have difficulty using it, you can book by phone or by email, and the table is exactly the same.
The review carousel scrolls sideways. It can be navigated by keyboard, but we recognise that this pattern is not always the most comfortable.
The automated check we run does not replace testing with disabled people. We have not done that yet.
4. If you hit a barrier
If you cannot reach something on this website, or you need information in another format, tell us:
- Phone
- +351 934 000 100
- info@fadonoporto.pt
- Restaurant
- R. da Madeira 146, 4000-330 Porto, Portugal
Tell us, if you can, which page it was, what you were trying to do and what went wrong. We answer, and we look for an alternative.
